It was time to reenergize this agency’s corporate identity without creating a whole new logo. Instead we chose to use the existing mark as a jump-off point. The original logo was designed by Gísli B. Björnsson Ad Agency around 1975.
We created a window-like element, looking out through the old logo at scenes of unspoiled Icelandic nature, through images created by photographer Ragnar Th. Sigurðsson. We emphasized three visual concepts throughout the corporate identity program: growth/greenery, ice/water and volcanic fire.
