The newly renovated museum building, which sits on the edge of the old harbour, influenced the new brand design – logo, color palette and corporate identity.
We are very proud to have worked with the museum staff on an exhibition which tells the history of Iceland’s Seamen’s Day from its inception 75 years ago. This important national holiday celebrates the significance of Iceland's brave seafarers to the culture and community, their contributions as well as their sacrifices.
The exhibit design aims to give the viewer a glimpse into the past using over-sized photographs, real-life objects and short text in Icelandic and English. The blue background color ties the exhibit together and leads guests from the first floor and up the stairs to the rest of the exhibits.
